By using the principle of design, balance, I created a graceful path for the eye to follow, and applied intriguing colors to this path to further interest its viewers. The repetition of geometric shapes also played an important role in making this transformation work. The original piece was a picture of my knight's helmet (made from tracing paper, wire, and gel medium), which was traced in photoshop using the magnetic lasso, and further edited as well.
